I have been working in hospitality all my life and have loved every aspect of it.
After running the Customs House Inn for 11 years, then setting up Rojanos, two well - known establishments in Padstow town, and then eventually moving on to ' The Shed' , now a popular café and local hangout in Wadebridge, I eventually decided to do something I've always wanted to do - set up my very own Bed&Breakfast !
Now I can meet and cook for people from all over the world, help with their travel plans and hear how much they have enjoyed their visits - and have the pleasure of showcasing my home for the benefit of my guests. Every day I'll be making someone's day that little bit better!
Running my own B&B is well ... great!
Ideally located, Padstow Bed & Breakfast is 10 minutes’ walk downhill from historic Padstow harbor with its shops, Rick Stein Seafood Restaurant & Paul Ainsworth Michelin starred Bistro. Nearby sandy beaches like St Georges Well and Tregirls lie with easy walking distance from us.
The guesthouse is also less than a 10 minute walk from the Camel Trail - an 18 mile surfaced route solely reserved for walking or bike riding purposes which joins the towns of Padstow and Wadebridge. It runs through a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and a Site of Special Scientific Interest (ISSI) and exhibits spectacular scenery.
A 5 minute ride from Padstow Bed & Breakfast is the South West Coast Path, which has been voted ‘Britain’s Best Walking route twice in a row by readers of the Ramblers Walk magazine, and regularly features in lists of the world’s best walks.
Special Conservation areas, National Trust enlisted buildings, lovely Cornish gardens and superb beaches with stunning coastal scenery make Padstow Bed&Breakfast your perfect holiday choice.
A Tesco supermarket is 1 minute walk from our Bed & Breakfast and next to it stands a bus stop for regular services to nearby places.
