Parking is free on neighbouring Road and Jarrahdale Beach House is only 60 yds walk down the grass slope to towards the sea. Reculver Country Park, Towers and Roman Fort The seaside country park features eroding cliffs, and picturesque walks. The striking 12th century towers are part of a church which is built inside of one of the first defences built by the Romans against the Saxon raids, much of the fort has been lost to coastal erosion so see this historical fort while you still can. Herne Bay Beach You can visit Herne Bay’s beach for a relaxing paddle or a swim. This beach is perfect for enjoying fish and chips while you look out across the sea.
