Take a break and unwind after exploring all that Edinburgh has to offer at this peaceful oasis by the sea. The 1-bed apartment is located in Newhaven which is north of the city centre, enjoying stunning views across the sea to Fife. There are excellent amenities on the doorstep, including popular local restaurants, a large 24-hour supermarket, access to the cycle path network, and a new tram stop with a frequent service to the city centre, both train stations, Murrayfield stadium and the airport. This is my home that I rent out while I'm away for work or holidays, so you should have everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are a few locked storage units for my personal things. There is a sofa bed available, but my license only allows for two adults to stay in the property. The property is suitable for people with allergies as I don't have animals, use air fresheners/perfumes, or have any feather bedding. PLEASE NOTE: This apartment is on the 3rd (top) floor and there is no elevator. I like it because there are great views, no upstairs neighbours and there's some enforced exercise, but I realise it's not for everyone :)

I have a strong background in hospitality and customer service - I have high standards and I love providing an excellent customer experience. I manage the bookings and communication with you myself to ensure you receive a prompt and personal service. Although I won't usually be nearby during your stay, I have a great neighbour and nearby friend who are available if there are any emergencies.

Newhaven is a lovely, quiet and picturesque area of Edinburgh. Right on the doorstep there are two parks, cycle paths, a beach (where people go cold-water swimming), and of course the beautiful Newhaven harbour and pier. I've lived in many areas in Edinburgh throughout my life and I can honestly say that Newhaven is by far my favourite. It's got everything you need with easy access to the city centre. There is free on street parking in the entire neighbourhood. There are also superb bus and tram connections to the whole city right on the doorstep. It's about a 40-minute walk to the city centre which you can do mostly by cycle path.
