A cosy comfortable house with lots of light. Within walking distance of famouus St Ives and the golden sands of Carbis Bay beach. (NB. I'm a retired yoga teacher and massage therapist. I moved down here from Brighton 5/6 years ago. I love where I live with it being walking distance from town (St Ives), but away from the holiday crowds n very peaceful I enjoy nature, swimming, walking and being in the sunshine. I've done a fair amount of travelling and enjoy seeking the sun. I've met some lovely people hosting my place and take customer satisfaction very seriously. Penny's Place is a very quiet location close to bus stops and Tescos and Costas (though you wouldn't know they were there) with coastal views from the bathroom. The street lights go off at 12 midnight. It is walking distance to both Carbis Bay Beach and Portminster Beach in St Ives, although a certain LEVEL OF FITNESS is needed to get back up the hill or you can get bus back from St Ives. You can get a From St Ives you can get buses to Penzance, Truro, St Just, St Michael's Mount and beyond. The country's only geothermal pool is a bus ride away in Penzance, see photo. (Booking in advance essential) St Ives is famous for its restaurants, three sandy beaches and the Tate Gallery. Many shops for clothes, art and jewellery etc fill the town. You can also view Margaret Hepburns sculpture garden there. There's a cinema and library with tourist information in the Royal Square. Parking is difficult actually in St Ives but there are two carparks at the top of town which you can get buses to from Royal Square. You can easily access the coast path and St Michael's Way from the house.
