We are West Stow Pods and we are a small Glamping business near Bury St Edmunds. We have 4 MegaPods and a Woodland Lodge and Pod Hollow, our very own Hobbit inspired abode. We have 13 years experience welcoming guests to our little corner of Suffolk which is situated in our own woodland where dreams and fairytales do come true! Guests come back time again and our very favourite visitors are the little ones who were conceived here! We feel there is something in the water...
We are so proud to offer up the magic of Middle Earth along with the excitement of Peter Pan. We have famous tree roots amongst our woodland, that are said locally to have inspired J M Barrie to create the underground caves of The Lost Boys. Our very own Pod Hollow is as close to a real Hobbit Home as we could make it and we would love to share it with you.

West Stow Pods is a family-run glamping site in the heart of Suffolk’s scenic countryside. Situated roughly four miles from East Anglia’s historic town of Bury St Edmunds, West Stow Pods offers a range of accommodation, including four cosy MegaPods, two Woodland Lodges and our star attraction: Pod Hollow; a homunculous-inspired subterranean dwelling nestled in the side of a grassy knoll.

The Hobbit-inspired subterranean dwelling complements our four MegaPods and Woodland Lodge to create a wonderful holiday destination in West Stow.
Nestled in the side of a grassy knoll in a Suffolk woodland, Pod Hollow brings the magic of Middle-Earth to life. From the moment excited visitors step through Pod Hollow’s perfectly round wooden door, it will feel as though they are stepping into a storybook.
Inside Pod Hollow’s subterranean chambers, you will find two double bedrooms, with a King-Sized bed in each, a sitting room, a fitted kitchen and a shower room. On cold winter evenings, cosy up in front of the fireplace, perfect for recounting tales of dragons and lost treasure. Like our hairy-footed Halfling friends, we at West Stow Pods, know how important comfort is.

There is plenty of walking and cycling in the King's Forest, Lackford Lakes, The Anglo-Saxon Village, Culford Park and Brandon Country Park. Pod Hollow is dog-friendly to a maximum of 2 dogs but please ask before booking.
Fuller's Mill and Larkwood Fisheries are in the village of West Stow. Bury St Edmunds is only 12 minutes away by car with a host of entertainments, restaurants and activities to amuse!
