Putham Barn, Cutcombe (Somerset) is located on the edge of the village, perched neatly on the side of the hill with the valley sweeping away beneath. There are lovely Exmoor walks direct from the door and village amenities are less than a mile away.

Please note, dogs are welcome by prior arrangement (maximum of 1) for supplementary fee of 35 GBP (note, no dogs in season please). This property is situated next door to a working farm therefore you must ensure your dog is kept under your control at all times, as there is likely to be livestock nearby. Furthermore, please do not allow your dog on the furniture or upstairs and do not leave them alone in the property at any time. Thanks for your cooperation.

Wheddon Cross is a village in the parish of Cutcombe on Exmoor, based around the crossroads; the roads run from north to south between Minehead and Dulverton, and east to west between Taunton and North Devon. The village is argued to be the highest on Exmoor, standing at 980 feet above sea level, and the highest point on Exmoor, Dunkery Beacon (1704 feet above sea level) is the focal point of the village. Dunkery Beacon is about three miles from the village, there are fantastic panoramic views from Dunkery; wild moorland to the west, the Bristol Channel and Wales to the north, the rolling Brendon Hills to the east and the Quarme Valley to the south.
