Penzance is a great base to explore West Cornwall which includes St. Michael's Mount, The Minack Theatre, Land's End St. Ives to name just a few. Meander is very close to all transport links with a 10-15 minute walk into the town centre where excellent restaurants, galleries museums parks and gardens are all accessible. Penzance truly is a destination where you can arrive by train without the need to drive, travel by public transport and enjoy a stress free holiday. The famous Penzance Promenade is just around the corner and a hub of activity with various sporting and charity events throughout the Summer, but always a very pleasurable experience to walk and appreciate the view of Mount's Bay anytime of the year. A unique and very popular Skate Park for those energetic teenagers and a selection of play parks for the younger children, all within walking distance. Alexandra Road being the main accommodation provider in the town is an impressive tree lined avenue within the Conservation Area with large Victorian Residences and plenty of unrestricted free parking.
