Our home is a 3 storey Victorian house in the heart of Neath. We moved here in the summer of 2017 and have spent that time restoring it. We have worked hard to make it a welcoming space and a home from home for those travelling through. We welcome our guests to join in with the family if they want to but also respect those that need autonomy and peace. Please be aware that there are no TVs. We have good WiFi and recommended bringing a device for 'screen time'. We don't allow footwear upstairs. We do have squishy carpets and you may like to bring slippers for extra cosiness. We would hope that your stay is summarised by a good bed, good food and good conversation! You are welcome to use the kitchen at any time to prepare your own meals. Tea and coffee are always available. Breakfast is mostly organic with home made bread, yogurt, jams, granola and fresh coffee. Please be aware that parking is limited in our street but we will be glad to direct you to further spaces on Bilton Rd and Wellfield Ave.

Jonathan and myself have hosted lodgers, guests and students for the past 25 years and love having a full house. We are home based and always on hand to provide any help or advice. Our children have now left home but we feel that it is still very much a family house and treat our guests as friends. We are a musical family and love the arts (we have a good piano if you play and would like to use it). If you are musical we welcome guests to bring their instruments. Jonathan would be happy to accompany you. We love walking and being outdoors. We do our best to be flexible with check in/out times. Feel free to contact us if you need to drop off bags or need a different time.

Neath is perfectly located, being close to sea, mountains and waterfalls. Only a 5 minute drive from the M4 it has good access to all of South Wales. The Brecons, Swansea and Gower are all within reach. Afan Forest is a 10 minute drive away and perfect for biking and walking trails. We are also not far from Port Talbot for those coming to the area to work. Neath centre is a 5 minute walk away and has a cinema/theatre, shops, pubs, restaurants and 6 day market.
