Newhouse Barn is a traditionally built stone barn with large living areas and cosy bedrooms. It offers panoramic views over rolling countryside and neighbouring farmland. Stunningly located in a peaceful and tranquil area of outstanding natural beauty, yet it is very close to the hustle and bustle of Salcombe and the incredible beaches and coastal walks of the area.

The host is usually around to greet guests, however, there will be a lockbox for self-check-in for your convenience. Well behaved dogs are welcome at a small extra cleaning cost. But we ask that you kindly keep them off the furniture and be mindful of our cat and chickens in the garden! Dogs are not to be left unattended in the property at any time! Events allowed on prior request and agreement with the host.

Newhouse Barn is on the outskirts of Malborough along a private drive. You experience a beautiful tranquil secluded setting, yet a moment’s walk from the pubs, restaurants and shops in Malborough. Ideally located within a short drive to the bustling town of Salcombe and all the local beautiful beaches and coastal walks. For keen walkers, Newhouse Barn is perfect to access footpaths allowing you to walk through beautiful scenery accessible from your front door. We offer the best of both worlds, with a relaxing and tranquil setting, yet so close to all the life Salcombe has to offer. There are numerous taxi services available as well as the bus from Malborough. There is a cycle/ footpath path from Malborough into Salcombe with some beautiful views of the estuary. Newhouse barn is located near many footpaths for keen walkers, and the stunning coastal paths and beach walks. It is also easy to travel around by car.
