Company information
Hi and welcome/croeso. We are Sian and John Breese, and we are very lucky to live on a farm in mid Wales, about 10 minutes from Aberdyfi. Cefn Crib is part of a 1,000 acre farming enterprise which John farms alongside his brother and father. After spending time managing the Breese family's Caravan Park, we also now have our own 4 luxury glamping bell tents, a shepherd’s hut, a cabin and a three bedroom cottage. It’s a family affair, with all of our family pitching in. We hope you enjoy your time in your own unique accommodation on our family farm.

Neighbourhood information
This area of mid Wales and south Snowdonia, in the Dyfi Valley, is both undiscovered and full of discovery. It offers a magical mix of wild open countryside and dramatic mountain scenery, to ancient forests and wide open beaches. Even in the height of summer you can easily escape the crowds and find a beautiful spot, with only the birdsong to break the quiet.
Equally, if getting active is your thing, Snowdonia National Park is one of the top destination in Europe for adrenaline sports, with outstanding mountain biking, walking, climbing, white water sports, zip-wires and even underground trampolining at Bounce Below within easy driving distance.
Nature plays an important part in life here, and you can be sure to spot plenty on the ground, in the waters and in the skies. The Dyfi Osprey Project and RSPB Ynys Hir are right on our doorstep. There's the opportunity to go dolphin-spotting in Cardigan Bay, and there's fishing, crabbing and plenty of beach based fun to be had a few miles down the road at Aberdovey. We are proud to be located within the UNESCO Dyfi Biosphere – the only one in the whole of Wales – which is an area recognised for its natural beauty, strong community spirit, diverse flora and wildlife, and some of the cleanest water, darkest skies and lowest population in Europe.
The local town of Machynlleth has all the basics covered if you need to get supplies, with a great range of independent shops, cafés, antiques and more, as well as a popular local market every Wednesday.
On the edge of the Dyfi Forest is Corris Caverns, home to Corris Craft Centre with 8 independent craft studios and the award-winning Dyfi Gin Distillery, as well as a Welsh food & drink shop and café. The site is also home to King Arthur's Labyrinth with underground storytelling adventures of the legends of King Arthur, and guided exploring of the abandoned slate mines with Corris Mine Explorers.
