the shepherd huts are located on our small farm, in Snowdonia. We are centrally located from various activities such as zip world, Snowdon, Port Meirion, Porthmadog and Dolgellau. There are excellent local Pubs that serve meals. the huts are a simple retreat, with wood burning stoves to keep you warm, and comfortable beds to relax in after an adventurous day. The toilet is shared between the two huts, and is a simple compost loo, with a shower a short walk away at the house ( there will be a shower by the huts shortly). the donkeys live in the field by the huts, so are your regular companions, and the alpacas are often close by, so you can sit on your deck and enjoy watching them.
we have been on the farm for 8 years now, slowly improving the land and natural enviroment, without use of sprays and poisons. the animals here are very friendly and love to meet new people, and you are welcome to explore the farm and meet them during your stay. We are passionate about farming sustainably, and producing quality products from our livestock, who are all very loved and rule the roost!
we are centrally located in Snowdonia National Park, so most things are accessable from our location. Public transport is available - but limited - with the nearest bus stop about 1/2 mile away. Snowdon is around 1 hours drive, as is the North Wales coast - Conwy, Llandudno etc, and Bala, Caernarfon and Dolgellau are around 1/2 hour away. We are about 15 minutes from zip world. ( Blaenau Ffestiniog).
Port Meirion and Porthmadog are about 15 minutes drive.
