The pod has received great reviews since it was launched in June 2019. It looks out over the sea with uninterrupted views to Skye, Lewis and Harris - a view which changes by the hour sometimes! Wake up to a beautiful panoramic view, and go to bed watching a fiery sunset over the Isles. Inside the pod we have hopefully provided all you need for a comfortable and peaceful break - the pod is a real hideaway from the hustle and bustle of civilisation, and relaxation is the order of the day.

We are in the remote and tranquil crofting settlement of Aultgrishan, just outside Gairloch itself. It is quiet and peaceful, and surrounded by stunning scenery and wildlife. You can walk down to our deserted sandy beach, climb the hills, or walk out along the clifftops to the lighthouse some 3 miles further on at the end of our road. If you don't fancy catering for yourself, Gairloch has shops, restaurants and takeaways. Scottish Natural Heritage have designated the area as one of Scotland's National Scenic Areas. It is a UNESCO Biosphere reserve, and it contains the UK's oldest National Nature Reserve. When you're here you can enjoy the ocean and the mountains, the woodlands and moorlands, stunning beaches, amazing wildlife, spectacular views, wide open spaces, glorious sunsets and big skyscapes.
