To be surrounded by countryside, but still be only a few miles from the town, then Grantham is the right place for you. There is history to find out more about as its Margaret Thatchers birthplace, and Woolsthorpe Manor is where Isaac Newton founded his theory of relativity and hence why we called the accommodation this too. There are great commuter routes for A52 and A1 mainly. There are plenty of dog walks nearby and only 0.5 miles to the Express supermarket. 2.5 miles to the train station and into the town, where you will find an array of shops including Antique shops, the museum and Guildhall for arts, coffee shops, bars and restaurants. The National Trust Belron House & gardens is fabulous to see with resident deer included. They have a great light show at Chrsitmas too. Opposite is the Belton Garden centre and restaurant which does get busy so ge there early. Belton Woods also has a Spa and leisure facilities, as well as offering championship golf courses.. Get to Downtown superstore for shopping. Grantham has a cinema and soft play areas as well as lovely parks, like Wyndham park to walk though.
