Skye Earth House
Skye Earth House is a new build with a eco friendly grass roof and full height windows at front. The curved design allows the fantastic view to be fully experienced. It is built into the hill and is finished to a very high standard. With a heated floor in the bathroom and electric blinds in the living room. We have spared no expense from the Smeg fridge to the hand made drinking glasses. Everything is designed for a wonderful relaxing experience.
My brother and I have lived on the Isle of Skye our whole life. We work together on the family croft and have a hydro generator and 2 small wind turbines. We have spent the last 5 years building Skye Earth House.
The Skye Earth House is located in Cuidrach overlooking the bay of the swan. It's a short walk from Castle Uisdean. With only 4 miles from the Uig Ferry terminal and 12 miles from Portree it makes it the perfect location.
It truly is a magical place.
