We are originally from the UK, with a great deal of "Yorkshire" DNA, and we inherited our family home in 2009, we have been hosting guests since 2011, and based on this experience we purchased a renovated a 2nd property with 4 bedrooms just steps away. Currently we reside in Canada, our adopted country. We grew up with the The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and many more !!!
Our family has been resident on the street since 1940 so area is home for us. Our positive experience during the growth of the holiday let industry motivated us to purchase this adjacent property just 3 doors away, We are very grateful to the many guests that have supported us over the years. Whilst we are long distance landlords we are available via phone, whatsapp, email etc. We have local housekeeping and support services from neighbours when required. Its a true Yorkshire community and everyone is very approachable and friendly.
The historical setting and Victorian era architecture is set in a truly stunning area of rugged steep sided hills that rise up to the moorlands that this part of Yorkshire is famous for .. Hebden Bridge has reinvented itself from an industrial textile town of mill chimneys to a world class, award winning community that has much to offer, and known for its local artisans and culture of inclusiveness. A warm and friendly community that makes everyone welcome and is truly a special place.
Train service to Hebden Bridge is exceptional, and also we are well serviced by the local road network. but once you arrive everything is within walking distance, coffee and tea shops, restaurants, and pubs cater to various tastes, plus the many local independent shops that our community fiercely support and protect. Spend an evening Hebden Bridge Picture House, built in 1919 and is operated as a community based non profit, other venues of note are the Trades Club that attracts a whole cross section of entertainers, or the Hebden Bridge Little Theatre.
Hebden Bridge is famous as a cycling destination and also a walking destination and is just off the Pennine Way.
