The room is privately located at the top of the house where you get the best views towards Trevose Headland. There is a king sized bed and ensuite bathroom with shower and a bath.
The breakfast room is on the ground floor with green views towards the Prideaux Estate.
We moved to Cornwall from Essex 8 years ago to enjoy a calmer life with plenty of options for outdoor activities. We really enjoy welcoming people to stay at St Helen's in a relaxed way.
St Helen's is a 400m walk to Trevone Bay sandy beach with is ideal for surfing or a dip in the sea. We also have a rocky beach and natural pool which is idyllic for swimming in low tide and sunbathing on the rocks.
There are lots of walking opportunities, follow the coastal path from the beach in one direction around to Steppers Point around the headland passing Hawkers Cove and then to Padstow which is around 5 miles. You can then return across farmland which is around 1.5 miles back to St Helen's House.
The coastal path in the opposite direction takes you to Harlyn Bay. This is a much flater walk of around 1.5 miles and there is a nice beach cafe upon arrival.
Trevose Golf Course is 2.5 miles away.
There is a beach cafe and pub within easy walking distance and lots of restaurants in Padstow in addition to The Pig at Harlyn Bay.
