I love leaving by the Sea, after 10 years in London I came home as that is where my heart is. Perfect for watching the sun rise and set over the beautiful beaches of the English Riviera. We’re lucky to have a warm microclimate in Torbay, that allows palm trees to grow, we have all over our grounds! There are no less than nine sandy beaches and extremely high standards of water quality. Torbay is the holder of three European Blue Flags , more than any English resort . There’s lots to do in Torquay whatever the weather! Nearby you’ll find Paignton Zoo, Living Coasts, and of course, the beach which offers a range of water sports and boat trips. The town centre is a short walk from the apartments and there’s plenty of cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops within easy walking distance. Don’t forget to try a famous Devon cream tea or some fresh fish and chips but watch out for the seagulls! You can catch the Dartmoor heritage steam train from Paignton station, which takes you on a round trip to Dartmouth. If you’re a fan of a stately home or a beautiful garden, there’s plenty of National Trust properties nearby, including Agatha Christie's home at Greenaway.

The main attraction of this apartment is the large windows overlooking the SEA view, floods in light wherever you are from the lounge with big white original shutters and overlooks the pool, terraced bar, tennis courts and beach, plenty to nose on from here. A large SUPER King size bed to snuggle in can be split into two singles for friends/ family sharing in the main bedroom also has large mirrored built in wardrobes with his and hers USB Electrical sockets by each side of the bed. Just bring your cable to charge up your phone at night. The apartment is HUGE so guests who have chosen to have the place to themselves will be spoilt with choice. The sprawling lounge is a comfortable haven with plenty of room to sit and mingle, entertain or relax. USB plugs so just bring your cable to charge your devices. You also have an dining table and a fully fitted kitchen at your disposal, with a cooker, washing machine, dishwashing machine and fridge freezer. There’s plenty of on street, free parking at the property is allocated its own space for one car at the rear of the property.

The surrounding gardens make for a delightful picnic spot and a fantastic place to relax on a blanket. Guests can sit beside the apple trees and watch the children in the play park or the outdoor pool. The apartment is a stones throw from the trendy Wellswood Village , the most acclaimed and beautiful part of Torquay, famous for its grand houses and historical buildings. The village has great vibes, with bustling local pubs , eateries and delis, enough to keep guests entertained for a whole weekend. It’s a short stroll to either one of our beautiful, local beaches. Meadfoot, Abbey Sands and Anstey's Cove are all breathtaking. And the fascinating and famous Kents Cavern with its prehistoric caves is en route, just 500 yards away. The cosmopolitan harbourside and Marina is about 1.5 miles away and an easy downhill walk. Bus is a better option coming home though with very regular services dropping you within 200 yards of the front door. Paignton is just a 5 mile distance and the quaint Brixham harbour just 8km ❤
