Our property is so old it was built before the pilgrims set sail for America! With massively thick walls, oak beams and oodles of history, Cookbury Court was also the main farmhouse for Dunsland Park. A manor house originally built by the Normans.
We moved to Devon to set up Puddleduck Valley after spending 10 years trying to find the right location. We love the thrill of making our guest's stay really enjoyable and go all out to exceed our guest's expectations.
We don't just like Devon, we adore it. This is an English county that has it all from fabulous beaches with rock pools, body boarding and surfing, to the mountains of Dartmoor with windswept granite tors and wild ponies too.
Devon is regarded as one of Britain's holiday counties and has so much to do.
