The Barn Behind: 1530 The Restaurant, Castleton.
If you’re staying with us, especially on a weekend, it’s always best to book into 1530 The Restaurant, as we fill up quickly, as do most of the pubs. If you need a taxi, it’s best to book sooner rather than later & there are no shops open after 6pm in the village. (We provide Bread, Butter & Milk in the barn)
Amazing walks, great for climbing, biking & caving, visit one or all of the six pubs. Great views, cafes, restaurants and dining. Close to Chatsworth House, halfway between Sheffield & Manchester. . The Barn Behind is right in the centre of Castleton with one off street car park, behind the restaurant with peek-a-views off to the surrounding hills. . The Barn Behind is perfect for couples or solo travellers. No babies or pets sorry. Non Smoking.
The Restaurant is open Mon/Wed/Thursday from 4pm and Fri/Sat/Sunday from 12 usually. But we should be available thru phone during normal hours.
Castleton, Derbyshire is a chocolate box village, 6 pubs & a tap room, many tea rooms & cafes, the home of Blue John.
