The Beehive is a studio apartment, with a private entrance, attached to the side of our beautiful family home. It’s a lovely, compact and welcoming space that is perfect to unwind in after a day on the local beaches or exploring Dartmoor. It consists of a double bed in an open plan kitchen and living room layout with an additional sofa bed to accommodate one child. There is a full kitchen including an oven, hob, microwave and a small fridge. The ensuite has a shower, basin and toilet.
The Beehive is ideally located in a peaceful cul-de-sac, nestled above the town centre, train station and the beach, all of which are easily accessible on foot within a 10 minute walk either down a pretty meandering lane at the end of our road or directly down the main roads. Cranford Sports Centre, which has a heated indoor pool and the usual gym facilities, is 5 mins walk.
Included; Local Information, Welcome tea and coffee, Free WIFI, Bed Linen, Towels and Neal’s Yard Toiletries, TV with Netflix, Amazon, free to air channels and DVD Player. Iron and ironing boards can be supplied upon request.
We are a busy family with 3 older children. We are pretty sporty, the kids play for local football teams and attend local dance classes. We love living so close to the beach and spend many carefree hours there, running, walking, people watching and we have even done a New Year's Day dip! We feel very blessed to live here, with the choice of beaches, town and the moors. We love music festivals, particularly Gone Wild at Powderham.
The Beehive is located on a quiet residential cul-de-sac of 15 detached, individual houses. We are walking distance to the beach, town and the gym.
Exmouth, is beautiful and there is something for everyone. We boast a stunning 2 mile golden sandy beach which is spectacular and varies in both Summer and Winter. There are opportunities to cycle, boat, jet ski, kite surf, kayak, fish, take a boat trip to see the coastline, visit other interesting seaside towns like Sidmouth, or head into the Roman city of Exeter with its RAAM museum, and large choice of shops and restaurants.
Take a walk along the estuary, our sandy beach or along the Jurassic coastal path and take in the spectacular views.
If you like dining out and love seafood you can take a water taxi to the floating River Exe Café (open 1st April - 30th Sept). Rockfish and Mickeys on the seafront are other luxury hot spots but there is also a variety of other amazing places to eat and drink along the seafront and in the town centre itself.
Pebbly Budleigh beach and Woodbury Common are both an easy ten minute drive from us too. Exmouth boasts a cycle path that runs the stretch of our two mile sandy beach, hugging the estuary through the pretty locations of Lympstone, Exton, Topsham and Dart's Farm before arriving in the city of Exeter.
Exmouth town also has a Scotts cinema and a British Rail train station.
