The Coach House is located in Fossebridge, a quiet hamlet situated on the River Coln. The hamlet is home to a popular country pub, the Inn at Fossebridge, which has a beautiful riverside seating area and a delicious menu of local Cotswold fare. For keen walkers, Fossebridge is an excellent destination, with footpaths leading directly from the house up the Coln Valley to Chedworth's Roman Villa and in the opposite direction, hikers can head to the renowned Bibury.
The Coach House is a beautiful stone Coaching Inn originally built in the 18th Century. It's been sympathetically renovated to provide high end guest rooms, in an ideal location to explore all that the Cotswolds has to offer.
Fossebridge is an ideal location for visiting many of the beautiful Cotswold villages, including Stow-on-the-wold, (11 miles) Bourton-on-the-water, (8 miles) and Bibury (5 miles). The historic town of Cirencester, the capital of the Cotswolds, is also only 7 miles away.
The Coach House guest rooms are only steps away from the beautiful listed Inn at Fossebridge, where lunch and dinner is served daily.
The nearest village is Northleach, (3 miles). You have several eateries available for breakfast and snack ... The Old Prison (Full English), Lynwood Cafe (Various) and The Ox House (Pastries) .... something to suit everyone.
As well as The Inn at Fossebridge next door, we also have several restaurants only a stone's throw from The Coach House. The Stump (1.2 miles), The Sherbourne Arms and Wheatsheaf, both in Northleach, offer an excellent choice of dining.
