The Dog House, Penryn is a 1960's dormer bungalow which we bought in October 2019 and have spent the whole of Lockdown time in TOTALLY renovating, remodelling and refurbishing. The house is now completely updated to welcome guests, in just 2 mini-suites. There is a half-acre garden which is still an ongoing project. Plese don't judge the book by the cover, the inside is done, the garden is probably our work in progress for years to come.

Bruce and Rosemary have spent 35 years in the hospitality industry located in nearby Falmouth. We are very excited about our new venture in Penryn.

Penryn is an amazing medieval town granted its first charter in the 13th century. It is now host to the 21st century campus of Falmouth University and Exeter University Tremoughcampus. There are several pubs and other places to eat within a 10 minute walk from The Dog House. We are on Bus Route 69 and close to the Maritime Rail line with connections to Falmouth and the main line at Truro. It is a 10 minute or less drive into Falmouth and 20 minutes to Truro, Redruth, Camborne or Helston. The delights of the River Fal and Helford River are easily reached and there are several nearby beaches. Enys Garden Trust is a 20 minute walk (uphill)!
