Jason & Melanie are both "escaped teachers" who have spent most of their teaching careers in international schools in Spain and Kenya. Jason is a History and Sports graduate with a keen interest in all sports and reading and Melanie is a Religious Studies graduate with a keen interest in yoga and reading. The owners have 2 sons - Josh lives and works on the Gold Coast, Australia and Sam who is currently the Lead Academy Sports Psychologist at Stoke City FC.

The Fairmile is a lovely Victorian house and is spread across four floors. The rooms have been tastefully decorated and are equipped with en-suite shower rooms. On the ground floor we have a double room and a twin room and a guest lounge complete with comfortable leather settees, a television and an Honesty Bar. On the first floor we have another double room, a family Room and our very special superior double room. On the top floor we have two single rooms, a twin room and two double rooms. As we do not have a lift guests who would prefer a room on a lower floor should contact us so we can assist them with this. On our lower ground floor we have our dining room where we serve breakfasts cooked fresh and to order. We offer a comprehensive breakfast menu which includes traditional english breakfast options, vegetarian breakfast options. continental breakfast options and english muffins. We also have a well-stocked breakfast bar with cereals, fresh fruits and juices. Our building is located just to the east of the railway station in St Annes-on-the Sea. The town centre is a one minute walk and the seafront takes about 5 or 6 minutes to walk. The train station is also one minute walk.

Lytham St Annes is simply a wonderful place. In 2016 it was voted one of the happiest places to live in the UK and it regularly wins the Britain in Bloom Gold Standard. The area is famous for many reasons not least Royal Lytham St Annes Golf Club which has hosted the British Open on numerous occasions. Aside from golf the area hosts many events throughout the year, most notably the now famous Lytham Festival, the 1940's Wartime Weekend and the St Annes International Kite Festival. Lytham St Annes is also just 5 miles from Britain's premier seaside resort of Blackpool which all of the major attractions and shows that it has to offer. With an excellent public transport system of trains, buses and trams visitors can easily get to Lytham, St Annes, Blackpool, Cleveleys and Fleetwood.
