The exceptional accommodation provides every indulgence and luxury for a truly special gathering of family and friends and can also accommodate shooting parties.

The quiet village of Pakenham (known as the Village of Two Mills) is home to Pakenham Water Mill as well as a windmill. The working water mill is one of very few in Suffolk still producing flour and if you visit on a Thursday morning you might be fortunate to see the mill in action. There is a seasonal tea room on site serving a variety of refreshments including a 'miller's lunch' and a beautiful garden for enjoying the tranquillity of the millpond. In the opposite direction, The Pakenham Fox serves delicious home-made pizzas and freshly fried fish and chips, as well as a varied menu for differing tastes and is an award-winning Real Ale pub.
Bury St Edmunds, the home of Saint Edmund is less than 15 minutes' away by car and offers award winning food and drink, a number of independent shops, beautiful parks and an abundance of history.
Both the St Edmundsbury Cathedral and Theatre Royal are well worth a visit and the stunning Abbey Gardens is best enjoyed on a sunny day.
Food lovers are absolutely spoiled for choice - why not enjoy some french modern fine-dining at Maison Bleue; or the Michelin starred Pea Porridge; or indulge in a Mediterranean feast at Francela. For a lighter bite to eat whilst exploring the town, Really Rather Good serves a tasty selection of cakes, sandwiches and platters.
There is easy access from London by train from Liverpool Street to Stowmarket or Thurston; alternatively from King's Cross to Thurston or Bury St Edmunds. Stansted airport is 55 minutes away by car.
