The owners, Ian and Sharon live in the grounds of Garden Lodge and are on hand to host and assist during your stay. If you love wildlife, an almost unprecedented number of birds have been seen in and from our garden including Osprey, Cirl Bunting, and little egret and if you have an interest in art, one of the UK’s leading artists works from his studio in the adjoining building.

The garden house is situated in the most beautiful location and offers you a perfect haven in which to relax and provides an ideal base to explore this special corner of Devon. The picturesque village of Shaldon is a 10 min walk away. A short ferry ride will take you to the historic port of Teignmouth or simply take a 5 min stroll down to a little secluded beach below the property, here you can sit and watch the world go by, swim or walk along the river to the ever popular pub and restaurant Coombe Cellars.
