The Gîte is a luxury, new build self-catering home overlooking the ever-changing landscape of Glen Duror. Its elevated position is private and peaceful with the majestic mountains of Fraochaidh and Sgorr Dhonuill dominating the skyline. A romantic get-away, a safe and quiet family retreat or a paradise for the outdoor enthusiasts, you decide! 15 mins drive to Glencoe, 30 mins to Fort William or Oban. A great half-way stop from Glasgow to Isle of Skye, North Coast 500, Inverness, and beyond. The house An open plan living/kitchen/dining space all look out at fantastic views of the mountains and countryside courtesy of the large gable window. The kitchen is well stocked with all the things needed to rustle up any meal and benefits from full size hob and oven, microwave, fridge with ice box and dishwasher. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer in the property. The main bedroom continues to enjoy the mountain views. It has a king size bed, dressing table, relaxing armchair and plenty of storage including hanging space. The second bedroom is cosy with twin beds (which can be made as a double on request) and chest of drawers. Off street private parking leads directly onto a deck allowing easy, same level access into the Gîte. There is a private courtyard area with outdoor table and chairs.

The Gîte is in the quiet village of Duror with a whole forest to explore on foot or mountain bikes. 5 minutes away is the National Cycle Network Route 78 which gives access, north and south, as far as your legs will allow! The stunning Cuil bay beach is 15 minutes’ walk away and gives opportunities to walk, swim or paddleboard/kayak. There is Co-op (groceries and post office) shop in Ballachulish within 10 minutes’ drive. Ballachulish also has a pub, fish and chip shop, tourist information centre and electric car charging points. There are a few delicious restaurants 10 minutes' drive in either direction of the Gite!
