Sweetcombe Cottage Holidays is a locally based self-catering agency focusing on East Devon. Established over 35 years ago with just a handful of cottages, the company has grown to the point where we now successfully market a wide variety of properties throughout the region. From the start we were determined to build up a reputation for offering only the best of properties. The company has grown, but everyone involved still holds true to the combination of commitment and professionalism that is the foundation of the company's success. Family run to this day, we are still able to offer that personal service which sadly in today's ever increasing pace of life can sorely fall by the wayside.

The Hideaway is a superb apartment forming part of an imposing Grade II listed Georgian terrace and occupying a quiet and convenient position 20 yards from the beach, croquet lawn and cricket pitch in the heart of Sidmouth. The apartment is on the lower ground floor with a flight of external steps with a storage room for bikes and surf boards The accommodation is surprisingly bright and airy with large sash windows in all rooms and beautiful furnishings and restful colour schemes throughout. A large hall leads to A spacious, bright, airy and beautifully furnished sitting room with large comfortable leather and velvet sofas, living flame gas fire and oak dining suite. Kitchen with modern beech effect units and modern appliances. Two bedrooms Bedroom 1: a good size twin with a TV Bedroom 2: a smaller double Two fully tiled high-quality shower rooms each with WC. and under floor heating. A residents/visitors parking permit (supplied at the property) allows parking in front of the terrace, however this does not guarantee a parking space at all times. Jacob's Ladder long stay car park is a 5-minute walk away. 3-7 day permits can be purchased online or RingGo app for East Devon council car parks. The seafront, shops and restaurants are all within a two minute level walk.

Sidmouth is a brilliant base for any age of guest, enjoy delicious food at great retaurants such as The Pea Green Boat to Lympstone Manor. Explore a range of activities on offer from nearby beaches off the South West Coat Path to day trips with the kids to The Donkey Sanctuary and Pecorama. There is paddleboarding & kayaking available over the summer from the beach right in front of Tollymore, or enjoy a round of golf at Sidmouth or Honiton Golf Club. Throughout the year Sidmouth holds a variety of Festivals including a jazz festival and a walking festival.
