The Hive was created in 2023 and is a tastefully appointed purpose build studio apartment attached to our main home within an acre of garden. It has a rural location 8 miles from Perth just outside the village of Stanley. Stanley is a village on The Tay and we have contacts if you fancy a day Salmon Fishing. There are kayaking routes of varying degree of difficulty, mountain biking tracks at Dunkeld and many beautiful woodland walks, or you may wish to just take your time and explore Perthshire at its best. The property boasts a large ensuite shower room, kitchen area with microwave, toaster, kettle, air frier and electric frying pan. A comfortable sofa in the living area and dining area, There is a king size bed from which you can enjoy our flatscreen smart TV with sky television. The property also has 5G wi-fi and an area that can be used as an office. There is private parking for one vehicle on site. You will have your own private patio with outdoor furniture, a fire pit and BBQ to enjoy. One well behaved medium sized dog is welcome but please be aware that we have free ranging hens. You will have access to a private garden to exercise your pet.

Stanley is a very historic village and a gateway to the Highlands. Most area of Scotland are accessible in less than 2 hours. There are numerous local golf courses that allow day playing and we're not far from Gleneagles. Stanley was built to house the workers of the local Mill which is now operated by Scottish Historic Scotland and has a museum, there are river walks from it along The Tay. The Hive at Seonaidbheag is located 1 mile from the village centre which has 2 shops, Pharmacy and award winning butcher, hotel, pub and bowling club, carryout food can be ordered from The Tayside Hotel. Stewart Towers award winning ice cream is also produced and available 1.5 miles from us. Active Kids Adventure Park and Cafe are situated just outside the village. Perth is 8 miles away and has excellent links by road, rail and bus to all Scottish cities. 8 miles in the opposite direction takes you to Blairgowrie and access to to Royal Deeside and Glenshee ski area. Cairngorm National Park and ski area are approximately 1.5 hours away.
