Getaway with family and friends to The Long Barn, a Buckinghamshire retreat with the excitement of a swimming pool and games room and two pubs in walking distance. The barn is incredibly spacious with a fabulous open plan living area and romantic first floor master bedroom suite. Choose to stay in spending time in your secluded private garden with a BBQ, having a dip in the pool or game of table tennis, and watching the horses in the fields. If you decide to head out for the day, you’re just a half hour from Oxford with its bustling streets, intriguing museums and tempting pubs and restaurants.
Please note a 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. This is fully refundable up to 60 days of arrival when your remaining balance payment is due.

The Long Barn is one of our pet-free properties and therefore dogs and other pets are not permitted.
The swimming pool is heated and open for use between 1st May and end of September (weather dependant). Use of the swimming pool must be arranged directly with the owner. The pool house is not available for guest use.

Sitting behind the owners farmhouse, The Long Barn is in the rural village of Worminghall near Oxford and Thame. It is a fabulous choice for those looking to get away from it all, but still have the opportunity for days out. Walk to the village pub, head further to Ickford or visit Waterperry House with its Museum of Rural Life and fresco tours on Wednesdays and Fridays. Oxford has so much on offer for all tastes from museums to historic tours, riverside walks and award-winning eateries while Thame is a thriving market town which is a pleasure to explore.
