Vegan for over 30 years, we are making The Miggi the kind of place that we would love to stay ourselves.
We love living so close to the beautiful Preston Sands beach, finding and supporting local vegan eateries, and helping folk feel at home.
Property information
The Miggi is the first vegan guesthouse in Torbay. You can expect fantastic plant-based breakfasts, locally made cruelty-free toiletries, and some special homemade vegan treats - all included in the price for your room. What is truly unique is that each of the comfortable guest suites has been individually designed to reflect a different author - JRR Tolkien, Virginia Woolf, Oscar Wilde, Mary Shelley, Douglas Adams, and Alice Walker - while the dining room has an Agatha Christie theme. The perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy a good book!

The Miggi is located in a quiet road near the seafront. It is just 100 yards level walk to the beautiful Preston Sands beach, South-West Coast Path, and around 80 yards to a stop for buses going along the coast to Torquay or Brixham, so it is a great base for exploring the area.
