The Nookery is a newly refurbished light and airy annex which is bursting with charm and character. This is set in our family home but is private and fenced off. We do have a child and dog and the hot tub over looks our family garden so please remember this when booking we do live here. Hot tub cut off times apply 8am - 10.30pm.
Once you open the stable door into this property there is a corridor with the shower room/bathroom to your right, then entry into the perfectly equipped kitchen on your left (which has a microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, electric hob and oven) then up the stairs to the sitting room with wrap around sofa, TV And child’s play den.
The main bed is a super king size bed with a separate draw out king size day bed (in the same room) should you have children so there is only one bedroom but it can sleep 4. The shower room is downstairs next to the kitchen. It has a shower, sink and WC (no bath) it is small but perfect.
Outside, there is a patio area with table and chairs which look over the mendip hills and raised beds full of beautiful shrubs and flowers. The area is surrounded by wooden fencing. Round the corner from the patio is The hot tub! This is a brand called "hot springs" it seats 4. The hot tub overlooks part of our family garden as a view. It is exclusively for who ever books the property and not shared. It is open from 8am - 10.30pm
Well behaved Dogs are allowed at the property but there is a charge of thirty pounds per stay so please ask before booking to avoid a misunderstanding. We also do not allow other people on the property other than the people who have booked as we are not insured, no surprise guests are welcome and no other people to use the hot tub other than the guests who have booked it.
“Suprise” extra guests and will be asked to leave.
As a family we love the outdoors and the peace a country property can offer. We fell in love with the farm house and the surrounding area when we moved here just over two years ago. We love dogs, skiing, the theatre and great food. We love to open our home to people who like us will respect the environment they are in and want a break from busy work schedules.
Situated in the heart of the Mendips in a pretty quiet village called Churchill green this rural home is still within a mile of a shop, post office, and 3 local pubs. The area has lots of pubs that are drive-able

The property Is perfectly located for enjoying the historic spa city of Bath, the metropolitan city of Bristol (20Mins away) the picturesque scenery of Cheddar Gorge and Caves, and Wells the smallest cathedral city in England as well as the local lakes of Blagdon and Chew Valley. Or, enjoy a day at Weston super Mare with its new sea monster exhibition or walk along sand bay beach with your dog.
You could even stay before you have to fly off to a different destination as we are 10-15 mins away form Bristol airport.
Try the Mendip ski centre is a short walk away (with plenty to do for all the family) the strawberry line cycle route is very well known for cycling through the apple cider orchards stopping off at pubs along the way, there is mountain bike trails and the mendip spring golf course and country club if you are feeling more active.
