Boasting two dog-friendly beaches, Heacham village is a great seaside destination. The beach is a large shallow bay with sheltered water. Heacham features a good range of shops, amenities, and a couple of pubs; The Fox and Hounds or the West Norfolk. For those of who enjoy a round of golf or a spa day, Heacham Manor is a five-minute drive away. The famous Norfolk Lavender is located on the edge of the village; the purple fields it curates and nurtures are truly breath-taking. Be sure to visit the fabulous farm shop to sample local produce. Just a fifteen-minute drive away is HM The King's residence, Sandringham House, which has a car park (small charge), cafe, restaurant, and a gift shop. If you fancy venturing further afield, but wish to leave the car behind, take the Coasthopper bus. The route traverses all the picturesque towns and villages along the coast.
