The Old Quay House was built two hundred years ago as part of a seaman´s mission, and became the residence of the preacher at the quayside Bethel. Wake up in the groundfloor bedroom knowing the sea is lapping a few feet away, or in the other bedrooms on the second floor overlooking the harbours. In the winter cosy up to the open flame fire.

The Old Quay House is owned by Sophia and Kevin, together with Gareth (likely sailing, and probably half-way across the Atlantic) and Seana (a classical musician).
Kevin was born & grew up in the south-west, and together with Sophia who is Greek bought the Old Quay House as their only home. Working away in Africa for many months each year allows them to let the Old Quay House for holidays, hoping others will enjoy the south-west and their home as much as they do. Growing up in the south-west, this is simply home. Falmouth is a fantastic place. The high street is yards away, with supermarkets, restaurants, cafe´s, galleries, craft shops, cinema, pubs, and so forth. The National Maritime Museum is a short stroll, the sandy Gyllingvase beach a ten minute walk, and the sandy Swanpool beach a further five. Pendennis castle, the harbour, recreation centre, and much more are a saunter away. The coastal footpath can be joined going west, or take a ferry from the adjacent quayside to go east.
Kevin and Sophia purchased this House in 2014.
With much to see and do the house is perfect for year round holidays. Enjoy the many attractions which Falmouth has to offer within a short walking distance, including restaurants, family pubs, specialist shops, art galleries, National Maritime Museum, Pendennis Castle, wide sandy beaches and coves, multi-screen cinema, leisure and fishing trips, public pool and bowling. Walk to the southwest coast path going west, or take the quayside ferry to the path going east. Falmouth is ideal for touring Cornwall with a short drive to Lands End, Tate Gallery at St Ives, surfing beaches on the North Cornish Coast, Minack Theatre, Lizard peninsula, World Heritage Mining sites, Flambards Theme Park and The Eden Project.
