Our Guest Suite is a private annex with its own access situated in beautiful Mid Devon, were you can come and go as you please. Guests are welcome to enjoy the comforts and facilities provided within peaceful and quiet surroundings backing onto open countryside.This includes safe parking and secure bicycle storage. A continental contactless breakfast is provided too. We have recently installed a EV charger for you to use at at a small cost, relax whilst your EV is charging.

Hello my name is Kate, I have lived in beautiful mid Devon with my husband Ben for 9 years, we set up our B&B in 2018 and quite frankly haven't looked back, i absolutely love my Job, I love meeting new people and making them feel relaxed, welcome and comfortable. I do hope you experience this when you come and stay at The Orchards Guest Suite. Ben and I enjoy travelling together to new countries and enjoying the culture, good food and wine. We also love cycling and walking as hobbies, I enjoy gardening and renovating furniture, Ben enjoys making fairy houses, and is extremely talented at wood work.

We live in mid Devon, just a 10 minute drive from the Great Western canal where you can enjoy a beautiful walk, see the wildlife, and a few pubs on the way, or a cycle ride, bicycle hire is available from the Globe inn on the canal. Or bring your own bikes, we provide a secure lock up for your bikes! Cycle from our back gate on the national cycle path to the canal in just 20 minutes. We are only 10 minutes away from Culmstock beacon where you can walk your dog ( our accommodation is pet friendly) enjoy the natural beauty of the hills and forestry. Culm valley inn pub is in Culmstock and worth a visit. We are 40 minutes away from the nearest beach, Exmouth, with expanded sands and icecream parlours to die for. Crealy amusement park in Exeter is a great place to take the children, only 25 minutes away. Enjoy many Hamlets in Devon, Broadhembury in particular springs to mind where nothing has really changed for over 100 years, the Hamlet is owned by the Drewe family and tucked away amongst the thatched rooves is the Drewe arms, a quirky pub providing good food, good ales, wine and a lovely garden to sit in and relax in. The five bells Clyst hydon is definitely worth a visit too.
