It’s a beautiful, unspoilt village with an extraordinary wealth of history including a castle, parish Church and one of the best-preserved monastic sites in England, Castle Acre Priory. There is also a lovely tea room and village pub. Dereham has a bowling alley, soft play, a Cinema, an Escape Room place and a leisure centre with a huge pool and school holiday activities such as inflatable obstacle course. Every Christmas the famous Warner Brothers 'Polar Express' runs for nearly 2 months from the historic Railway in Dereham and the town has lots of pubs, cafes, shops and amenities.
