The village of Melton Constable is a thirty minute walk, or short drive, away where there are local facilities and an excellent specialist butcher's shop selling award-winning sausages. This pretty and peaceful location is a superb base from which to explore both rural and coastal North Norfolk at any time of the year.
A warm welcome awaits at the village pub, The Three Horseshoes, which serves great food throughout the day. The Pigs, ten minutes away by car, serves delicious food and is a great place to hang out.
Just a twenty five minute drive away is the the beautiful north Norfolk coast where you can discover charming coastal villages, some great gastro pubs, fantastic scenery and lots more. Sheringham, Salthouse, Blakeney and Cromer are all within easy reach. For boutique shopping, the popular Georgian market towns of Holt and Burnham Market are both accessible. Thursford, famous for its Christmas Spectacular and Steam Collection, is also a short drive away.
