The Snug is located next to the Cairn Nature Reserve in Ilfracombe, The nearest Station is Barnstaple Railway Station is only 13 miles away and there are regular buses to Ifracombe. The bus stop is a very short uphill walk to The Snug. We are happy to meet you at the bus stop whenever possible. The views are spectacular and the wildlife in the garden is beautiful. It is a very peaceful area but for a 20 minute walk (or a quick cheap bus ride) you are in the bustle of Ilfracombe town and another 5 minutes takes you to our working Harbour with its quaint fishing boats and Verity, our very own piece of art by Damien Hurst. There are lots of events that happen in and around Ilfracombe so do checkout the Visit Ilfracombe Site. North Devon is officially an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and one visit is never enough there are so many places to visit and so much to see. We liked it so much we moved here!!
