The Summerhouse is a delightful detached lodge in the grounds of our cottage. Designed to allow total privacy with your own entrance,garden and patio area, hot tub and sun loungers. The Summerhouse has an open plan layout with a comfortable lounge,TV Netflix/ fitted kitchen with fridge,hob and microwave grill. There is a separate modern bathroom with a walk in shower. The bedroom has the option of a super king size bed or two single beds as required . There is off road parking in our car park. It was our dream when we moved to Shropshire to buy somewhere which would allow us to keep a few animals. We now have 2 Valais Black nose sheep, 3 Alpacas, a cat and 2 dozen hens. We hope you will get as much enjoyment as we do from seeing them grazing freely in the adjacent field. We provide a complimentary welcome continental breakfast including our freshly laid eggs ! Should you fancy a treat of a cooked breakfast from our menu of local sourced produce my husband Simon( a retired Chef) will specially prepare this and bring it to the Summerhouse at a time that suits you for an additional cost. The bedroom will be made up as a superking should you require 2 single beds please let us know

Hello I'm Cheryl. I feel truly blessed to live in this beautiful part of Shropshire with my husband,sheep,alpacas and chickens ! I left a job in accounts in the West Midlands a year ago to begin my dream of living the good life. When I am not looking after the animals I enjoy walking, fishing and entertaining friends. I look forward to the opportunity of welcoming guests and I will do everything I can to ensure your stay is a memorable one. We are usually available to greet you but also have a key safe which we will give you full instructions for, should you be arriving late. There is a welcome/information manual in the property. We are happy to help and can be contacted at all times during your stay.

We are situated down a idyllic quiet tree lined country lane opposite a 14th century Anglican church. A short walk down the lane leads you to Chelmarsh Nature Reserve and Reservoir. We benefit from an elevated position which offers panoramic views across the Severn Valley. A short walk away lies The Bulls Head public house offering real cask ales, good reasonably priced food and weekend live entertainment. The Summerhouse is only 3 miles from the delightful town of Bridgnorth. We are in an excellent area for walking,cycling,riding and Angling. The Summerhouse is on the Jack Mytton Way and The Mercian Way cycle route 45 . A short drive will take you to the heart of the Wyre Forest, the Severn Valley Railway, Iron bridge,The Black Country Museum and West Midlands Safari park. Church Stretton, Much Wenloch and Ludlow are also popular options for a day out.
