Upper Tallet is situated near Gunn, a small hamlet close to the North Devon villages of Goodleigh and Landkey, and Brayford. This quiet countryside location enjoys far reaching views of fields and valleys, and just a short scenic drive from the cottage, the village of Landkey offers a post office, convenience store, pub and a tearoom. Also, less than a 10 minute drive away is the larger town of Barnstaple, with an array of independent and chain shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, theatre, cinema and bowling alley. Excellent days out can be enjoyed on the North Devon coast, where Woolacombe, Croyde, Saunton and Westward Ho! offer a great day out to the beach, and the unspoilt beauty of Exmoor National Park is within easy reach too.
