The Turret is a completely unique, unusual, quirky, self-contained Grade II listed apartment, at the top of The Priory, in the oldest part of Folkestone accessed by a private period internal spiral staircase leading up into a lead lighted atrium which overlooks the historic church of St.Mary and St.Eanswythe; beautifully furnished open plan living/dining area with stunning 180 degree views over Folkestone and the English Channel.
The space
There is 1 large bedroom with King-size bed and access to a small balcony overlooking the beach and harbour - which benefits from spectacular views of the sunrise and sunsets; en-suite bathroom with period features and complementary toiletries; Fully equipped kitchen, with Velux windows to the roof which makes it light and airy. There is a gourmet coffee machine, and good selection of Teas (milk and sugar also provided).

Location
Recognised as one of the fastest growing seaside resorts now within the UK, Folkestone is a jewel in the crown of the Southeast coastline a 54 Minute train ride from London St Pancras International. It's a 10 Minute drive to the Eurotunnel and 20 minute drive to Dover Ferry port - so a perfect stop off - but once you are here you will want to stay.
Things to do
Short walking distance to many ancient Pubs, trendy bars and top end restaurants. Silver Screen Cinema and the Leas Cliff Theatre and the Leas Cliff Coastal park.
Putters Adventure Crazy Golf Course and Café on the beach next to the Harbour Arm (open Weds-Sun) all year (weather permitting)
Harbour Arm/The Goods Yard with its giant screen which shows films and sporting events and live music sessions (Apr-Dec).
There is a covered/heated area with street food outlets; stalls selling local produce, beers, wines & spirits and a market area open all year (Sat & Sun) weather permitting! Miles and miles of beautiful beaches from Dover to Dungeness. Watersports centre in the Harbour where you can learn to paddle board and Kayak.
The recently restored Harbour Arm and the And all this before you reach the Beaches - and there are many. Take your pick from shingle to sand. There's Sunny Sands or The Warren where you can walk to Dover , recognised and nationally important for its wildlife with 150 species of birds and rare wildflowers or miles of shingle beaches from Folkestone Harbour Arm you can walk for miles into Sandgate, then on to Hythe.
