El Duke of Wellington es una posada tradicional cubierta de hiedra del siglo XVIII y situada en Danby, cerca de Whitby. El hotel es un punto de partida perfecto para explorar el parque nacional Moors, Whitby y la costa. También dispone de conexión Wi-Fi gratuita. Esta posada, construida en 1732, fue utilizada como puesto de reclutamiento durante las guerras napoleónicas. Recientemente se descubrió una placa de hierro del Duque de Wellington en el exterior del edificio. Dicha placa descansa ahora sobre la chimenea del bar del hotel. Se han renovado y restaurado las instalaciones, manteniendo el carácter y el encanto de esta posada rural tradicional.
