Our place is a self-contained first floor flat attached to our family home. We are right in the centre of Battle - 50 yards from the High Street and 5 minutes walk from the Abbey. There is space for you to park for free if required and we are also within walking distance of the mainline train station.
The flat itself is beautifully decorated and comfy - with all the things you need for a relaxing stay. We provide tea, coffee and milk for you to use throughout your stay - and we will also leave ingredients for a continental breakfast for you to enjoy in the flat each morning - please let us know when you book if you have any specific dietary requirements. We are happy to provide access to ironing and laundry facilities too if they are needed during your stay. Do get in touch if you have any questions or would like to know something that we haven’t covered here. We look forward to meeting you!
Battle is a thriving Sussex market town. The famous Abbey is 5 minutes walk from us. The town has lots of delicious places to eat - breakfast, lunch and dinner - as well as interesting shops to browse. There is a mainline railway station which has frequent trains to London, Hastings and Tunbridge Wells. The coast - and beautiful Sussex beaches - is only a 10 minute drive. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and easily accessible from our doorstep. There are plenty of gorgeous walks - across the fields to local pubs for lunch - as well as the 1066 walk itself.
