If walking up the mountain is seen as too demanding, take the Snowdon Mountain Railway to the top and enjoy the stunning views. There are fabulous circular walks around Llyn Padarn lake, with the famous National Slate Museum nearby. And Llanberis itself has some great restaurants and cafes. Or take a short drive to the pretty village of Beddgelert through stunning mountain scenery. And there is always the option to head further afield to the stunning beaches of Anglesey or the Llyn Peninsula.
