Ty Gwennol is situated 3/4 mile outside the village of Llanbedr. From our location your surroundings are woodlands, mountains and sea views. When you stay here, you will notice the peace and quiet with only the sound of nature to keep you company. Your self contained annexe comprises of a double bedroom, lounge/dining room with private bathroom and a kitchenette. During the warmer seasons you can sit outside on your patio area and enjoy the variety of birds that visit our garden each day. We do allow 1 dog up to medium size too, however, we do charge a fee for their stay. Please inform us if you are bringing a dog with you. There are many public footpaths around our area for those who prefer walking and also the mountain ranges are not far from here either.

We are Jane and John and we moved to Gilfach Goch in July 2021. Jane has lived in the Llanbedr area all her life and I have lived nearby until moving to Llanbedr in 2008. We decided to move here from our successful B&B Cae'r Meddyg Farm to expand our business and were extremely happy that our guests transferred their bookings to our new property Ty Gwennol. We take pride in what we offer here and want to make all our guests very welcome and feel relaxed as soon as they arrive. We do believe first impressions count and to treat people as you'd want to be treated yourself. Sometimes going the extra mile makes a difference and having a good rapport with the guests makes them feel relaxed. We do have knowledge about the area and can accommodate with providing books, maps for further information.

Most of our guests said Llanbedr is a great hub for visiting Snowdonia and North and Mid Wales. There are numerous attractions to visit in Snowdonia. Here in Llanbedr there are 3 public houses which serve food and only a 10 minute walk down the hill. There are numerous restaurants in the area serving various cuisines. Also we have numerous beaches within 5 - 10 minutes drive. 5 miles away is the historic Harlech Castle which has a cafe, shop and a history and information room. We are more than happy to assist with any information guests require while they stay here at Ty Gwennol.
