「We liked the spacious layout of the apartment and the firm mattress. We also liked the ensuite shower room with its plentiful supply of hot water. There was more than enough heat from the radiators to keep us warm in the depths of winter.」

Located in the heart of Washington Village which is bursting with character and some really interesting history, this modernised 2 bedroom fully furnished apartment has everything you need to relax whilst visiting the area. The apartment is currently undergoing a refurbishment and will available from the 1st of July 2023. Reserve now to secure your stay at this amazing location.

Fun facts! Dame Margaret Hall was built in the 1840's by Issac Lowthian Bell, grandfather of the famous explorer Gertrude Bell who was actually born in Dame Margaret Hall on the 14th of July 1868. (see memorial plaque in photos) Washington Village home to the wonderful Washington Old Hall (100m down from Dame Margaret Hall) that is looked after by the National Trust. It is a place of great significance because it was once home to the ancestors of George Washington, the first president of the United States.
