「The facility turned out to be a marvellous historical cottage superbly fitted out and supremely comfortable. An unexpected bonus was the Sonos sound system linked to Spotify which kept us dancing in the living room!」

Welch House is a historic building in the centre of Onchan village conservation zone, built in 1842, designed by John Welch who also designed The Tower of Refuge (castle in Douglas Bay). Welch House is one of a few listed buildings in the Isle of Man, and has plenty of character, a truly unique holiday home. Offering a memorable and luxurious (crystal chandeliers throughout, granite and solid oak kitchen) stay, an excellent base to explore the Isle of Man.
Onchan is situated to the north of Douglas, within easy walking distance of Douglas itself. Welch House is on the edge of a park, surrounded by green even though in the centre a town and is a 2 minute drive to the centre of Douglas, 15 minute walk to the north end of Douglas promenade and a 15 minute walk to the TT grandstand.
