Falkland is a beautiful historical Scottish village that attracts many visitors from all over the world. When visiting Falkland you really feel like you have stepped back in time. The main attraction is Falkland Palace which was a favourite of Mary Queen of Scots. The village has pubs, cafes, shops, restaurants. Falkland is surrounded by beautiful countryside with great walks and Falkland hill is a stone throw away. Many scenes of Outlander were filmed in Falkland making it a very popular tourist attraction for Outlander fans.
