Meader Barn is a delightful detached barn conversion situated on the owners' traditional Dartmoor hill farm, within the Dartmoor National Park and four miles from the market town of Tavistock. This cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, consisting of one mezzanine king-size double and one ground floor twin, as well as a bathroom and ground floor shower room. The cottage also has an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. Outside there's off road parking for one car and an enclosed lawned garden with patio and furniture. WhiteTor Farm: MeaderBarn is a convenient base for exploring this wonderful part of Devon. The property is accessed via rural lanes that are narrow, with degraded and potholed surfaces in places. Please note there is no smoking allowed at all on the entirety of the property, this is due to the amount of straw and hay in the area and to avoid any fire risks, if you would like to smoke, it will take you about 15 minutes to walk off the grounds.

Tavistock is a delightful, award-winning market town on the River Tavy, on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park. The town offers an indoor pannier market, a number of shops, and a choice of pubs, bistros and restaurants. Wonderful walking and cycling can be enjoyed in the area, plus there are National Trust properties nearby. Within driving distance is the city of Plymouth, Torbay, and the North Cornwall coast.
