Y Bwthyn is a beautiful stone cottage situated in the heart of Newport Pembrokeshire. Perfectly located to enjoy the delights of the local amenities and wonderful area. Newport is home to many lovely independent cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops and a local produce street market on a Monday. It is a small bustling town but yet close to wonderful nature it is set at the foot of Carningli Mountain with Parrog beach and the Pembrokeshire coastal path a few minutes walk away. Please note: this property allows a maximum of 2 dogs. No other pets are permitted. Southerly facing garden with 15 steps leading to an area with lovely views across picturesque rooftops to the sea and Dinas Head beyond. The garden may not be suitable for people with limited mobility.

Neighbourhood information

Newport is located in one of Pembrokeshire National Park's most scenic parts, and the coastline views are one of the most beautiful to find in West Wales. With two beaches, you are spoilt for choice in Parrog and Traeth Mawr (Big Beach). You enjoy a myriad of watersports or a round of golf at the nearby golf club. There are many historical sites of interest in the immediate areas, with Pentre Ifan Burial chamber and the Preseli Hills just a 10-minute drive away. The pretty market town of Cardigan is 11 miles to the north, and the harbour town of Fishguard and Goodwick 7 miles to the south. There are regular buses to local towns year-round and coastal buses that run regularly in the Summer months.
