「The Breakfast was delicious particularly Ellie's homemade fruit compote and the delicious gluten free sausages.
My husband was in hospital and I was rather stressed and busy. Ellie was very kind to run a load of washing for me.」

Nestling on the edge of Yellowham Wood, peace and tranquility are guaranteed. Ideally situated for exploring the Jurassic Coast whilst being close to Dorchester lends a good central location for exploring all of Dorset.
The property is secluded up a half mile long private tarmac driveway, away from the main road and hidden under the edge of an old oak woodland. The farm has 60 acres of grass pastures populated by a small herd of Dexter cattle and a handful of retired racehorses. There is ample parking in the main car park and outdoor seating adjacent to the bedrooms which are accessed directly from the yard. There is also a woodland garden situated up some steps away from the car park. The guest rooms are separate from the main farmhouse and located on the ground floor in a quadrangle. Three standard rooms down one corridor that look out onto a banked garden with apple trees and natural shrubs where wild oregano and meadow flowers grow. The garden has regular visits from rabbits, pheasants and deer Two superior rooms located in another corridor which are even more quiet and separated by a large sun lounge and dining room from the other corridor.
There are many places of interest nearby. Picturesque villages and old towns all featured in Thomas Hardy's novels and varied largely unspoilt countryside with landmarks such as Max Gate and Hangman's Cottage in Dorchester to Maiden Castle and the Cerne Giant found in the surrounding area.
In December 2001 the 95 mile strip of coastline of Dorset and East Devon became the first natural site in the country to be given World Heritage Site status by Unesco. The Jurassic Coast is considered to be the only place in the world displaying unbroken evidence of 180 million years of evolution. Dinosaur footprints have been identified in the limestone coves and headlands of Purbeck and the Isle of Portland.
